Fun Tricks you can Use Right Now for your Wii

13 Wii Tricks and Tips

This article will give you 13 Wii tricks and tips on the Nintendo Wii.

1. You are able to e-mail a Wii console. As long as you know the Friend code for that Wii you are able to send it an e-mail from anywhere. If you are going to do this the e-mail address will be w(Wii Number)@wii.com. An example of this would be w123456789012@wii.com.

2. Is your Wii to plain-looking and dull. You can change this pretty easily. If you follow the step below you can add glowing blue light around your Wii CD drive when you play.

Here is what you do:

You go to your e-mail from the home menu and add your e-mail address to your address book. You will then need to wait until you receive an e-mail, reply to it, and wait a few more minutes. You should have an e-mail waiting for you on your Wii and, if you do not reply to it, you should have a blue light glowing around your CD drive when you play.

3. If you are wondering how much charge is left in your battery on your Wiimote you can find it out now. Power down your Wii and press any button, lights should begin to flash. If 1 light flashes your battery is about to die and if four lights flash you are good to go for awhile of play.

4. If you just bought your Wii you may not even notice that there are two extra parts to your console in the box. The first is a Clear Disc piece that fits under your Wii stand to stabilize its balance. The second is the stand for the sensor bar that should give you a better angle reception on your sensor while playing.

5. Wii Video 9 is a free video conversion that was developed by Red Kawa. If you have this application on your computer you can convert video files from the computer format to the specific format that are playable on the Wii.

6. Do you not like the generic teammates or spectators in video games. The Wii automatically uses the other Miis that are in your Plaza as teammates and spectators in certain Wii sports games.

7. If you are playing Wii Sports Golf and are on the third hole there is a secret spot that you can get to the green in 2 hits. It is a small section of fairway that is about 45 degrees to the left from the tee box. This area is marked out of bounds but if you land in the right spot you can play from there.

8. If you are just beginning to play Zelda this is important. If you want Link to do a spin attack you will have to spin your nun chuck controller attachment in the direction you want him to spin.

9. If you register three Nintendo products onto Nintendo.com you will get three months of Nintendo Power free.

10. If you register your Wii onto Nintendo.com you will get a free 90 day extension to your warranty.

11. If you are playing Zelda and stay at the start screen of the game for an extended time you will get to see a longer trailer that the general public never saw.

12. If you are playing Wii Sports Bowling, you can press up on the directional pad and the game will zoom in on the lane.

13. If you press the home button on the main menu and then click on the controller image you are able to adjust the Wiimote volume and vibrating functions.

These are just 13 tips and tricks with the Nintendo Wii that I found to be interesting.
